Host Margaret is a Working Artist and Designer. Painting and Sculpting have become a major part of her life. She finds Sunnybank an excellent environment providing the inspiration so necessary to achieve in her work.

Painting predominantly with oil on canvas and sculpting in Oamaru Stone and Wood, her works have sold to many corners of the world.

Guests have the benefit of taking in her artwork throughout the Homestead and Gardens, most of which are available for purchase. Shipping can be arranged to your home.

It is very likely Margaret will have ‘Work in progress’ during your stay. Commissions are welcomed and, time permitting, may be completed during your visit.

At the, now world renowned, World of Wearable Art Awards this year. Margaret has been a prize winner on two occasions. Two of her creations are now on display at the World of Wearable Art and Classic Cars Museum in Nelson.
